Shea Theodore
The 20-year old finally scored his first NHL goal in his 8th career game, which happened to be the game winner over Ottawa last night. After being selected 26th overall in the 2013 draft, the young man is packed with upside. The opportunity hadn't been there but with Cam Fowler out and Sami Vatanen not exactly lighting up, this could be the start to something. Monitor the situation closely as Coach Boudreau could give him an extended look on the power-play.
Michael Stone
The natural progression has been taking place for the 25-year old as he comes off a career high of 21 pts in his third NHL season. With 18 points in 42 games, Stone should flirt with the 40- point barrier as he seems entrenched in Keith Yandle's previous spot on the primary power play unit. Stone is another good example of how opportunity is a fantasy owner's best friend as Yandle being shipped out has resulted in a huge fantasy boost for MS.
Mark Streit
Having played six games since returning from injury, the former All-Star has generated points in two straight including the GWG against Boston. The recent play of Shayne Gostisbehere made Streit's return to the top PP unit much less obvious, but the now the rookie is hurt. This could be Streit's chance to regain his hold on that spot but tread with caution. The rookie looks like the real deal so don't be surprised if Streit ends up playing less on the power play.
