Welcome to the New Year!  May you be blessed with health and happiness in the coming year!

I believe Sidney Crosby has made the PrimePucks™  Who’s Hot list for the first time this season!

Don’t look now but the Philadelphia Flyers are beginning to wake up and get into playoff contention.

That Capitals-Rangers game on Saturday afternoon was an exciting one!  I hope they play against one another this playoff season again!

Ovechkin is a beast!

Erik Karlsson is amazing but right behind him is Brent Burns, if not with him.

Johansen for Jones is going to work out well for both teams.

Holtby, Price and Allen are the top three fantasy NHL goaltenders from here on out.  Maybe add Rask to that group.

Is Sean Couturier finally realizing his potential that the Flyers have been waiting for all these years?

The Habs need Carey Price back.

The Maple Leafs got shellacked in San Jose on Saturday night!  The Sharks put a Hert-ling on them!  I couldn’t resist.

I had such high hopes for Tomas Hertl this year but has been a disappointment.  The year’s not over yet.

The Pens are glad to have the real Kris Letang back I bet.

Those Florida Panthers are on such a roll that if they continue they just may be a surprise come playoff time because of Roberto Luongo in net.

I see that Anaheim has climbed back into playoff contention after a disastrous start to the season.

Gotta give credit to Carolina and New Jersey hanging in there this season.

The St. Louis Blues don’t miss a beat by losing Jake Allen for any period of time because they have Brian Elliott to plug in when he does.

These Arizona Coyotes are like the Florida Panthers of the Western Conference.  They are not going away.

Perhaps Mike Smith should let Louis Domingue have his day as the team seems to be gelling with him in net.

There will be some very disappointing teams come April as they will miss out on a playoff spot even though they played hard and deserved one.

Can we please get some 100-point scorers in the NHL?

Jonathan Drouin just needs to get out of Tampa Bay and get someplace north where its cold and hockey will cherish what he can bring to the game.

Sidney Crosby is not even in the top 40 of NHL scorers.

He should be one of the second half monsters along with Anze Kopitar, Rick Nash, Claude Giroux and I want to say Ryan Johansen but I just can’t.

Enjoy the week and may all your fantasies come true!
